We provided advice on the UK electricity trading markets and commercial route to market arrangements for the new nuclear plant at Hinkley Point. This included providing advice on:

• The ability of a baseload generator to capture the Baseload Market Reference Price under the CfD;
• Appropriate settlement and collateral arrangements associated with trading outputs;
• The technical and commercial aspects of contractual arrangements related to trading output and related trading and hedging strategies;
• The Grid Code, BSC Code and other industry documents; and
• Compliance with regulatory requirements in the GB market.
