We supported the Monitoring Trustee team for a two-way gas release auction in NW Europe, required under the terms of a deal between the EC and Dong (now Orsted).

The Monitoring Trustee was responsible for monitoring the compliance of the seller and auction operator in line with the conditions and obligations attached to the Decision by the European Commission regarding the merger. As part of the Trustee team led by CompetitionRX, ESP Consulting led the review and valuation of swaps of gas swing contracts between several European hubs and supported the Trustee in the monitoring the auction.
