Balancing Mechanism Training

ESP Consulting supported SmartestEnergy’s entry into active participation of the GB Balancing Mechanism through knowledge transfer and assurance of the charging and settlement rules of the market. This involved:

  • Preparing and running a workshop for the business on topics of imbalance charges and cashflows; and
  • Follow up activities to ensure that designed internal processes properly accounted for settlement algebra.
